Want to join Transgender Zone but can’t afford a membership? Our Sponsored Membership Program can help.
How It Works:
To make our community more accessible, we give away 6 months of membership through a daily lottery system.
We take in sponsorships through our Sponsored Membership page and manage a daily lottery to give away the available funds.
To enter the lottery, you need to have a Transgender Zone account. Then, you apply to the community and fill out our financial aid application.
1. Create Your Account
You’ll need an account first so you can apply properly. The button below will direct you to the community page where you can sign up for free. You will not have access to any features other than the applications required to apply for aid.
All following steps will be sent via DM in your new account, but feel free to read on!
2. Apply to the Forums
In order to keep our community trans-only, you will need to fill out a written application to be reviewed by our moderators. All new members have to do this in order to get community access.
3. Apply For Aid
You’ll also fill out a brief financial aid form that will place you into the lottery system. To make the lottery more fair, you’ll have better odds the longer you wait for sponsorship.
FAQs
How long does it take to get sponsored?
We do our best to bring in new sponsors so we can run the lottery every day, but the wait time highly depends on how many folks are waiting, how long they have been waiting, and how much we have to give away.
How will I know if I get sponsored?
If picked during the lottery, you will get an email and a DM on Transgender Zone asking you to claim your free membership. You will have 7 days to claim that membership via an email link, and then you get direct access to all community features.
What happens after 6 months?
After 5 months, you will be invited to reapply if you still need sponsorship. This application process will require you to fill out a sponsorship renewal form, and you will be placed back into the lottery system in the same way you were the first time. If you are not picked before your membership lapses, your access will be temporarily suspended until you get picked again.
What if my situation changes?
If at any point you want to pay for your membership, you are more than welcome to do so! If you are tired of waiting to get sponsored, you can pay $5 for a month of access and hope to get sponsored before the next month. If, after 6 months you can afford the membership, you are more than welcome to switch to an access membership.
