Global Resource Database Now Available For Free
Transgender Zone Launches Free Global Resource Database Connecting Trans Individuals with Thousands of Verified Care Providers Across 15+ Countries and Growing.
PROVIDENCE, R.I., DEC. 15, 2025 — Transgender Zone, a trans-owned company dedicated to building confidence, competence, and community for transgender people worldwide through their trans-only online learning community, just announced the public launch of its Global Resource Database. This free tool provides access to more than 2,000 verified healthcare providers, surgeons, support groups, advocacy organizations, and legal resources across 15+ countries, with extensive coverage in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The company plans to expand the database to every country globally and improve features based on need.
“Finding a great provider for transgender healthcare is an essential part of every transition, so finding that care needs to be easy. This free tool would have been life-changing for me when I transitioned at 14 in a small town. I hope trans folks and care providers around the world use this to make the search for great care empowering.”
Victoria Rose, founder & CEO of Transgender Zone, woman of Transgender Experience, and Chair of the Board of Directors for Thundermist Health Center in Rhode Island.
The database addresses a critical gap in transgender healthcare access. Currently, most trans individuals seeking care must rely on unverified Reddit posts, word-of-mouth recommendations, or hope their primary care physician has specialized knowledge of transgender medicine. Transgender Zone’s Database sets out to solve that problem for good.
- 91% of trans folks rely on transgender websites as primary information source, yet 65% still had difficulty finding physicians, never mind surgeons they can trust (PMC).
- 48% had at least one negative experience with a provider in past 12 months because they were transgender (USTransSurvey).
- 19% were refused care due to transgender status (PMC).
- 28% avoided medical care altogether due to fear of mistreatment (USTransSurvey).
This is the first verified, maintained, global solution to a documented crisis for trans folks. It’s trans-owned, algorithmically maintained, comprehensively scoped, and free.
- Transgender Zone updates the database weekly using a proprietary technology process to maximize quality of thousands of resource listings, compared to other resources that update either never, yearly, or let providers provide the information themselves.
- Other existing databases explicitly do not have verification or quality assurance practices. New providers on our database are vetted for consistent results, a lack of legal cases against them, contributions to the field of trans care, and more.
- The database goes well beyond healthcare providers by listing local/national legal, advocacy, and community support for all available areas.
